About Us
Established in Auckland, New Zealand, since 1997, Reid Yacht Services specialises in the Procurement and fast delivery of spare parts, provisioning and maintenance supplies.
Owned and run by experienced crew members, Reid Yacht Services provides all the shore based management services you need to make your time in the Pacific and your arrival into New Zealand easy.
Their aim is for your stay to be trouble-free and enjoyable. With a clear understanding of your requirements, and a network of suppliers at their fingertips, Reid Yacht Services will ensure every detail is taken care of when you dock, and that any necessary refurbishments, repairs or restocking of supplies will be carried out professionally, efficiently, cost-effectively and to a deadline.
Reid Yacht Services was established by Kath Williamson (nee Reid) who built the business based on friendliness, honesty, a thorough knowledge of the NZ marine scene, first hand experience working in different capacities on professionally crewed vessels worldwide and a working background in customs brokering. Her standards and values are continued as a legacy and a tribute to her.
Craig Roe - Director
After spending many years sailing worldwide as Captain on various luxury yachts, Craig has moved ashore and turned his skills & talents to Project Management, Commissioning, and Refit work which includes numerous projects with well known New Zealand shipyards Alloy Yachts & Fitzroy Yachts. Craig's years as a Captain have given him an indepth knowledge and understanding of the Luxury Yacht industry. He appreciates the high level of professionalism and trust required when providing services and products on behalf of vessel owners and crew.
Previous experience with water based tourism here in Auckland and racing yachts back in the UK gives a unique approach to her role. Helen is very customer service focussed and works tirelessly to ensure a smooth passage through any yacht's visit to Auckland and Pacific Islands.
Jen Hogg - Provisioning Jen is in charge of the provisioning division here at Reid Yacht Services. Originally a nurse she gave this up to become a chef and worked for twelve years on Super yachts. Jen spent the majority of these years in New Zealand and the South Pacific; she thus has a detailed knowledge of the provisioning scene in these places. Her fastidious nature is camouflaged by her blindingly pleasant and attentive ways. She is passionate about food and cooking and will assist you with all your provisioning needs while you are here in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Felicity Matla - Accounts A newcomer to accounting Felicity is fortunately a very fast learner and has a good head for numbers. She worked for 10 years as a chef on sail boats and is now established along with her family in Auckland. Silke Sigley - Crew Placement
A native German but since 1999 a fully-fledged kiwi. After four America's Cup campaigns as a sailmaker and several years onboard Super Yachts, Silke is exited to match some quality candidates/crew for you.
