Fee & Pricing Structure 2009

Firstly - Welcome!

We are happy to assist you to whatever extent you require and will work with you to ensure we are providing the service you expect.

We consider ourselves the “Good Guys” amongst yacht agents and have put together this pricing summary so you know upfront how things will work.

The outcome we strive for is total satisfaction – please let us know if you feel we are not achieving this. Our future depends on you and your recommendations!

We welcome the opportunity to quote on absolutely anything you require. We aim to save you both time and money!

Reid Yacht Services ensures to supply spare parts, all vessel equipment and provisioning supplies for, at the very least, less than you could obtain by walking into a shop. In most cases we offer considerable savings.

Note: There are no additional charges for sourcing, supplying and delivering products. The price we quote is the price you pay.

There are some services where we do pass on agency fees – these include:

  • Arranging Customs Clearances inbound and outbound.
  • Arranging and booking berths to meet vessel requirements.
  • Researching and Supplying Accommodation.
  • General additional “running around”

Reid Yacht Services agency fee is: NZ$55 per hour.

Important: These fees will not be incurred without your approval. No Surprises!

Wherever possible GST (12.5% goods and services tax) will be zero rated to your vessel. Please enquire for specifics.

Select Crew Placement

Our fees structure is as follows:

  • For a permanent placement (a position intended to last beyond 91 days) our fee is 7% of their annual salary.
  • For a temporary position (between 31 and 90 days) our fee is 15% of their total wages paid.
  • A position lasting less than 30 days, our fee is 20% of the total wages paid.
  • Dayworkers – Please enquire as rates depend on task at hand, length of time required and experience.
  • Once you have hired someone we ask you contact us regarding start date and salary. We will invoice once the candidate has reported for work.
  • Please advise if your fee payment will be made by credit card or bank transfer so we can forward you the necessary details.
