- Private 54m MY is taking applications for a temp Chief ENGINEER with necessary qualifications (could turn into full-time)
- Experienced and enthusiastic young kiwi couple needed for 20m motor sailor Captain/Engineer & Cook/Stew/deck with the current qualification of a minimum Yacht master offshore cert (pref Ocean) and very strong engineering skills. Cook/stew/deck is required for normal duties and light cooking.

Following is a brief overview of each position within the yachting industry. This is aimed at newcomers to the industry who are looking for guidance and general information on each of the roles. For the experienced crew members seeking further employment, please refer to the ‘To Apply’ category below for guidance on how to reach our recruitment division.
Deckhands
We have a number of positions for deckhands on board a variety of vessels. Applicants need to have a good background of boating with essential skills such as, small boat handling, detailing and cleaning, varnishing and perhaps paintwork, watch keeping, water sports and safety.
Normally the minimum qualification requirements are STCW 95, and other (boat Masters, Yacht Masters certificates to aid in navigation and laws)
Applicants must also be clean cut/ well presented with no visible tattoos or piercings.
Stewardess
We also have a number of positions for quality, well presented Steward’s/Stewardess’s. Applicants need to be skilled in all types of food & beverage service, housekeeping, attention to detail and have great personal skills. General sailing/boating experience as well as any watch-keeping, navigation are all attributes looked upon favorably. STCW95 is often the minimum requirement for stewarding.
Delivery / Temporary Crew
As our agency extends to the Pacific and beyond, we often receive requests for crew to assist with deliveries or short term positions. These are varied roles requiring a wealth of skills ranging from fully qualified captains, to chefs, stewardesses, engineers, to watch-keeping crew.

Captains / Mates / Engineers
These positions are regularly submitted on a variety of yachts ranging from smaller vessels right up to yachts 200ft plus. A range of qualifications and attributes are consequently required of any applicant in order to meet these high standards.
