There is nothing worse than being stuck in the Pacific with the owner or guests on board and no source of good quality fruit, vegetables and meat!

Reid Yacht Services has recently aligned themselves with one of New Zealands leading fruit and vegetable wholesalers & a leading meat and dairy supplier.

Currently exporting to Tonga, Samoa, Rarotonga, Guam, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tahiti and Noumea, our suppliers are experts in delivering fresh produce in as short a time frame as 2 days from receipt of your order.

Exporting And The Authorities

All products to be exported are usually delivered to the supplier within 24hrs of being harvested.

All items are washed, trimmed where necessary and inspected for quality compliance before packing.

Once packed, the NZ Agri-Quality authority is called in to check the shipment for quality, accuracy and that it is free from diseases, insects, dirt and pests. Agri-Quality then certify the shipment for export. This includes any meat, dairy or dried goods.

The Agri-Quality authority then checks the shipment again immediately prior to loading on the vessel/plane.

About the Supplier

  • Over 10 years experience in the produce industry.
  • Employs 30 staff and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • 60% of fresh produce is sourced direct from the grower.
  • 40% is sourced daily from the wholesale markets.
  • Meat & dairy products are sourced on a as required basis for your order.
  • One of a few NZ companies to be fully Agri-Quality certified. Agri-Quality is the NZ Government’s agriculture inspection service who implement, monitor & maintain strict levels of product quality.

Product Availability

Many products are available all year round in New Zealand.

Some products are seasonally available in NZ and good quality imports are readily available during the off-season.

The few products that aren’t available in NZ can be sourced offshore if required.

Our supplier will never fill an order with sub-standard product – they will work with us to source the best quality at the right price.

Obviously due to the availability of various fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy in each country, we are often only able send to you what can’t be sourced there.

We do however offer a large range of the following:

What Do You Have To Do?

Compile an order & either email or fax it to Reid Yacht Services.

State on it what your requirements are, how many you are wanting, the weight & how you want it packed.

We will put together a Pro-Forma Invoice & email or fax it back to you with a price which will include the freight & extra costs ie. Agri-Quality

Once you have ok’d this, we will pass the order on to our suppliers & have it to you approximately 2 days later depending on flights.

You can choose to have it delivered to an agent where you are, or directly to the boat at the marina. You decide!

Payment

Payment can be made via credit card prior to the shipment leaving New Zealand or wire transfer depending on what is more convenient.
